	SP-5 White Metal Blast Cleaning
	Complete removalof all visible oil, grease, dirt, dust, mill scale, rust, paint, oxides, corrosion products and other foreign matter. The surface must be free of spots or discolorations. Uniform finish. Usual methods for cleaning: compressed air nozzle blasting or equipment with centrifugal wheels. Equivalence: NACE #1 • Swedish Standard #3

SP-6
Commercial Blast Cleaning

Complete removal of all visible oil, grease, dirt, dust, mill scale, rust, paint, oxides, corrosion products and other foreign matter, except for spots and discolorations.

Spots and discolorations shall be limited to no more than 33% of each area of nine square inches.

Usual methods for cleaning: compressed air nuzzle blasting or equipment with centrifugal wheels.

Equivalence: NACE 3# • Swedish Standard # SA-2

	SP-7 Brush-Off Blast Cleaning
	Complete removal of all visible oil, grease, dirt, dust, loose mill scale, loose rust, and loose paint. Tightly adherent mill scale, rust and paint remains are accepted. Usual methods of cleaning: compressed air nozzle blasting or equipment with centrifugal wheels. Equivalence : NACE #4 • Swedish Standard # SA-1

SP-10
Near-White Metal Blast Cleaning

Complete removal of all visible oil, grease, dirt, dust, mill scale, rust, paint, oxides, corrosion products and other foreign matter, except for spots and discolorations.

Small spots or discolorations shall be limited to no more than 5% of each unit area (nine square inches).

Usual methods of cleaning: compressed air nozzle blasting or equipment with centrifugal wheels.

Equivalence : NACE #2 • Swedish Standard # 2.5
